Rise and Shine!
I had a very uneventful weekend which was actually kind of nice:) I borrowed my Mother-in-law's sewing machine so I could work on a few notebook covers for my sisters-in-law for Christmas. My sewing machine broke awhile back and I'm dying to get a new one, but I'm trying to hold out and get a nicer one (not Walmart) this time around. We'll see how long I can wait though. So the sewing machine that I borrowed is at least as old as my husband (29). I works great still, but I could not figure out how to thread the dang thing, lol. Thank goodness for the internet and for people that think to put diagrams of how to thread 30 year old machines on it. How did we survive before the internet really? So this is the first cover that I finished. The other one is now in the works:)

Today I have two new things up for sale at Funkyplayground to show you! All of the designers have come up with mini kits to sell called Fa La La to go with Traci Murphy's created some awesome 4x4 templates. You can get entered into a contest just for buying the mini kits. Each designer will be giving away gift certificates! Here's my Fa La La pack of elements and some doodley felt fun also ;)

Here's also a layout that I created the other night using the Felt Meets Doodles Flowers, Stitched frames, and some Emily Merritt goodies!

Have a great day!
xoxo until next time!
