Tomorrow Valentines season official starts so I made this layout of Grace and Abby (in 4x6 form) to send out to my friends and family! I used a new kit named All You Need is Love by Meredith Fenwick! Great kit for February!

Okay, so I realized how fun designing is and I had to make something else. This kit is quite different that my first. There's really no rhymn or reason for my stuff, lol. Here is a layout (of my two sweeties fighting in the bath tub, lol) that I just did to test out my new freebie. It's called Clash and it's pretty bright! I should have it up tomorrow for your downloading enjoyment!

This is a layout that I did of my good friend Ginger and I when we were Juniors in highschool, ten years ago. These pictures really crack me up, LOL! We were in photography together and I guess decided that we were going to do our own glamour shots, lol. I had to scan them so they're not the best quality, but I had to use them when I saw this beautiful kit by Meredith Fenwick called All You Need Is Friends! It will be up for sale along with others from her All You Need Is... collection next week!! The stitched rectangle is by Michelle Coleman!

What makes kids do the things they do, lol? Abby just started sticking her head through the banister and getting it stuck! The funny thing is that she won't stop doing it! She definitely knows how to ge my attention, lol. Today is a very snowy day at our house which means that we're going to have to go out and make a family to go with our one lone snowman, Buckethead. Wish me luck!

This is a layout that I whipped up last night using my new Pom Poms (or bobbly balls) by Amy Martin . I think they're so fun! Abby got a new sweater for Christmas that I think is really cute, but the the teenage world I guess that it would be considered a "grandma sweater."

These are all of my nieces and nephews (and my two kids). Aren't they cute! It seems like it wasn't that long ago that we (my brothers and I) were the kids. Now we have the kids and there's thirteen of them!

Just a layout that I whipped up this morning using a picture that I took of Grace in the Fall.

Okay so this morning I got busted. My husband thinks that I spend too much time on the computer (which is probably true, lol). This morning he was on his way to work and this is how the conversation went:

Dad: "Grace do you want to come to work work with me."
Grace: "No Dad, I'm a girl."
Me: "Oh, what do girls do?"
Grace: "they paint and color and play and do crafts."
Dad: "What do Moms do?"
Grace: "They play on the computer. Right Mom?"

AAAAAAAAAH! Corey just looked at me and said, "Hmmm." Well I guess that it's time to not spend so much time on the computer. Let's see how it goes. Wish me luck, LOL!

At Scrap Artist they are having an all year challenge called Simply You. There's a new challenge up every week and by the end of the year I'll end up with a fun album about myself. Go check it out. It will be tons of fun. I just made my cover page today! I'm thinking of kind of doing to same type of thing for Corey, Abby, and Grace.

Okay, so I've only had my blog for a few days now and I got tagged by two different people in the same day! This is fun! I'm sorry that it's taken a few days to get around to doing this. Here I go:

1. 4 jobs I've had in my life: Burger King (First job at 16), a dollar store, RAGS (a factory second store), and as an office assistant. Pretty exciting I know, lol.
2. 4 movies I would watch over and over: Tommy Boy, Anchor Man, Shallow Hal, and one chick flick, Alot Like Love.
3. 4 Places I have lived: Utah, Moscow, Idaho, Utah, and Utah!
4. 4 TV shows I love to watch: CSI, The Office, The Biggest Loser, and Oprah.
5. 4 Places I've been on vacation: Florida, Cancun, Hawaii, and Canada.
6. 4 Websites I visit daily are: Scrap Artist, Two Peas, The Digi Chick, and my buddies blogs.
7. 4 of my favorite foods are: cheese cake, sandwiches, pizza, and chicken crispers (at Chilis).
8. 4 places I'd rather be right now: Hmmm, a nice hot jet tub with lots of bubbles (it's freezing in this room, lol), on a tropical island, a Disney Cruise sounds nice, and maybe just back in bed!
9. 4 bloggers I'm going to tag: To tell you the truth, I don't know any bloggers that haven't been tagged, so if you're reading this, you're a blogger, and haven't been tagged yet....CONSIDER YOURSELF TAGGED!!!

My good buddies Ange Barton (angedawn) and Ginger Voth (Gingersnaps) came over with their cute kids for lunch today! There's nothing I like more that being with my friends, eating, and talking "digital," LOL. It is always fun and I'm always learning new things from them.

This is a layout that I did of my daughter Grace the other day. She has always wanted to be a princess and I guess that she's searching for her prince.

Since my Abby did say cookie for the first time, and maybe the last, lol, I thought that I'd make and share my favorite recipe with you. I used to think that I'd never make a good chocolate chip cookie, but this recipe has definitely cured me. Before you read on, just know that they are far from calorie friendly, lol. The secret is to take them out when they still don't look done (about 8 min.) Enjoy!

Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup shortening
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
3 t. vanilla
1 1/2 t. baking soda
4 1/2 cups flour ( I do about 5 1/4 cups)
1 1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 cups nuts
1 package chocolate chips, large

Heat oven to 375. Mix shortening, butter, eggs, sugars, vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Bake 8-10 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet!

My now 18 month old Abby, just said cookie for the first time the other day!!! She's been a little bit slow at talking. I think because her older sister is such a yacker! I was so excited I let her have all the cookies she wanted. Needless to say, she hasn't said it since, LOL!

This is a layout that I did recently for a challenge. We just moved into our first home right before Thanksgiving. It's so nice to be in a bigger space! It was originally buit in the 1880s so it is full of character. There are definitely things that we'd love to change in the near future, but I guess that I'll have to be patient. Wouldn't it be nice if the govnerment gave every new home buyer a blank check to help with decorating, lol.

I never thought in a million years that I'd have my own blog, but here I am!! When I first started digital scrapbooking I never thought that I'd ever post a layout, join a creative team (Meredith Fenwick), or enter a contest let alone win a spot on a great creative team (DSM's Best and Brightest). I'm excited to see what comes next in my life of "I'll never." Today I'm starting my new life as a "blogger." Wish me luck!
