Happy Halloween!!!
I do realized that it's technically still Oct. 30th at my house, but I think that tomorrow might get too busy to post. We just got back from Abby's Halloween dance recital. Watching three year-olds dance is the cutest thing ever! I'm in the doghouse for forgetting to charge the video camera, but that's another story :) Tomorrow I get to go and watch Grace (she's going to be a super princess) and her classmates walk in a little costume parade at school and then I get to stay for my first duties as a Room Mom! Corey thinks that it's funny, but when she was born I secretly started dreaming of the day when I would get the chance to be a Room Mom:) I'm in charge of making Oreo spiders with the kids. Then tomorrow night is the annual ward trunk-or-treat and then a Halloween party at grandma's house! I bought Abby a duck costume and green Wonderpets cape so that she could be Ming Ming (her favorite). For some reason she's hates the costume though, lol. It will be interesting to see what she is tomorrow because she has her choice of a bumble bee, girl pirate, Raggedy Ann, or Ming Ming (of course).
Incase you're wondering Flylady is going pretty darn good! I have a few dishes in the sink now, but an hour from now I vow to have a shiny sink and I started doing one load of laundry a day this week and it's really been good. I actually wash, put in the dryer, and PUT THE CLOTHES AWAY (that didn't happen before). Finding little things that work for me is great. I was really getting stressed at the thought of having a baby and still feeling out of control with my house. The house is still out of control, but I'm on the path to "control." Lol.
In the spirit of Halloween I wanted to post some of my things that I sold last year (just ignore the Plain Digital Wrapper logo). If you don't already have these and want them please grab away.

Happy Sunday
Hope you're having a lovely weekend! Yesterday I cleaned my horrendous laundry room which now makes me happy and I started Flylady's Beginner Babysteps to organization. I love the thought of being clean and organized, but I am horrible at it. I really do hate cleaning. Mostly it's the thought of doing it more than anything. Part of the problem is having this nice computer to turn to (just for a second I always tell myself, lol) when I don't want to do something. So this morning I woke up to a clean and shiny kitchen sink! I just have to keep it that way, lol.
This month Gina Miller and I worked on a fun Halloween collab together. I had so much fun working on this. It seems like it's been a LONG time since I've been able to do a grab bag so this is exciting. If you need some fun Halloween pieces (and you know me the felt queen) go grab this bag!

Tiff & Gina Grab Bag!!
I always wanted to leave you with some recent layouts using some new fun products by my favs, Emily Merritt, Jen Caputo, and Two Sisters Designs!

I'm Back!!

I'm sure that many of you have already seen these cute faces around on blogs and maybe even layouts lately. I'm just a little slower than the rest, lol. These are my friends from the digi retreat last weekend at Park City! I can't believe that was a week ago already. I probably wouldn't be blogging now if it wasn't for these fine ladies. I've been in such a slump lately with all things digital, but hanging out with these amazingly creative ladies really helped me to get the wheels spinning again and realize how much I've missed it. It was only maybe two months, lol, but that seemed like eternity. Anyway we always have such a great time scrapping, chatting, and my favorite eating ;) Here are a couple of layouts that I scrapped while I was there.

In other news Grace had a book fair at her school last week so of course she was so excited to go and pick out a book. To my surprise I "got" to pick out a book too and since I'm so health concious I picked Cupcakes from the Cake Doctor by Anne Byrn. I've always wanted to get one of her cook books. Last week I tried one and I want to share it with you. If you love chocolate and peanut butter this is the cupcake for you! They were YUMMY!

24 Hershey's Kisses
1 Package plain yellow cake mix
1 1/2 c. water
1/3 c. smooth peanut butter
1/3 c. vegetable oil
3 large eggs
1 t. vanilla
8 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
Preheat oven to 350 degrees {FYI-put peanut butter cups in the freezer for at least 30 min. and they'll be really easy to chop up for your topping). Mix together cake mix, water, peanut butter, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Fill 24 cupcake liners 2/3 of the way full. Unwrap your kisses and lightly place one of each on the top of the batter (FYI-when I make these again I think I'll go without the kisses. They were definitely good, but hardened back up inside the cupcake and these will be just as tasty without them). Cook for 18-20 min. Let cool and then frost with buttercream frosting. Then top with chopped peanut butter cups. Now devour!!
Whoever actually tries these cupcakes and e-mails me at tiffj.brady@yahoo.com I'll sent you a $5 gift certificate to the place of your choice!
Well I guess that's all for today! Hopefully I'll be bringing you another tried cupcake recipe next week ;) Thanks so much for reading!
xoxo for now.
