Over the last tow days I've done two different challenges for sites that I'd never actually posted to before.

Yesterday I did this quote challenge that's at DesignerDigitals:

I really like how both of them turned out and they took no time at all! I'm definitely going to have to venture out and do more challenges in the near future!

I'm really loving the new hang out! Digishoptalk or is it Digitalkshop, lol. I don't know why I can't keep it straight, but I have no problem finding it :) It's awesome to have EVERYONE in one place and to always get the scoop! The only problem that I see is that now that I know about all of the sales my debit card might get a little more use :)

In other digi news Atomiccupcake just came out with a new action!!!!!!! I tested it out on this simple layout that I did of Abby. I also really love her crumple action (I used it on the little blue paper).


Okay so this is pretty random, but yesterday one of my fears became a reality!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I locked my keys and my kids in the van!!!!!!!!!!!! I was picking up my friend at a car repair place along with her two little girls. I thought that I'd be helpful and start loading the kids in, but I must have hit lock as I got out of the car. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!
I think that Abby knew something was up because when she saw the look on my face she started crying. So thank goodness that I have a four year old that has a carseat that uses just a regular seat belt. I took me a few minutes of coaxing (and she doesn't read lips very well), but I finally talked her into trying to get out of her seat belt. Anyway, it all ended happy and Grace saved the day! She so excited that she can get out of her car seat by herself, which might cause a new problem now, but that's okay, lol.

I just found out (a few days ago) about the amazing amazing charity kit that was made for my friend Laura V. who is battling cancer. Check it out, its beautiful and humongo! There's also a raffle at the Scrapartist for her too!!! Gotta love a good raffle! :) :)

So moving on....I am now back from my week vacation at my parents house, and it was really nice! The kids had a great time and so did we. I thought that it might be a long week, but it really flew by. The kids were even great driving for 9+ hours (except for Abby's one "ralfing" incident). There's too much to tell, so I'll just leave it at that for now. When we got home we even walked into a sparkling clean house!!!!!! Come to find out, my in-laws came over and cleaned while we were gone. Don't worry, it wan't THAT bad to begin with, but they really cleaned (I'm even talking about the inside of the oven). It was super nice of them, I'm just trying to not think about them doing our laundry and looking in our underwear drawers, lol.

That's about all that's going on in this neck of the woods. I just got finished making baby shower invitations for a shower my Mom is throwing and I'm now working on some baby annoucements for my cousin. I really really love doing this type of stuff, and I'd love to open my own little online shoppe just to design annoucements, invitations, and whatnot, but I have no idea where to start. If anyone has any great ideas, please throw them my way! I'm going to leave you with this simple layout I just finished using ALL Atomic Cupcake stuff!

I'm trying to get ready to go for our family's first long road trip together! I know that's really sad, lol. The girls and I have gone on trips with my Mom, but usually Corey is working. It's funny because all it took was buying our van and a road trip was already in the works on the way home from the dealer. We're going to visit my parents in Spokane Washington which is about an eleven hours. Grace is so excited she wants to bring all of her toys, but all of the toys that she's grabbing are ones that she NEVER (and I mean never) play with. So as you can see from the title I have a lot of laundry to do to get ready (fun).

My bday was on Monday and then Grace's 4th bday was on Friday. We celebrated with a blue party and she got way too spoiled. I finally got a subscription to Creating Keepsakes and also to Scrapbook Anwsers!!!!! A big thanks to my great friends Ginger and Ange who both got me gift certificates to Scrapartist! I love guilt free shopping! I just discovered Sugar Giggles and I'm sure this this will be a new hang out spot for me!
