Snow+Pirates+Crafts
Yesterday I got a few e-mails letting me know that my designs that I'd just put in the store yesterday morning were being given away on a blog! YIKES! Gotta love those pirates! I went to my 4shared account and saw that the Fa La La elements and the Felt Meets Doodles Flowers had both been downloaded over 40 times. I hurried and deleted those links thinking I was okay and then just a few hours later they had more of my stuff up, lol. What a compliment to like my stuff enough to pirate it, lol. Sheesh! I ended up deleting all of my 4shared files and will probably use box.net or something else in the future. Well I hope that at least those pirates do some scrapping and posting, lol.
I also made my second notebook cover yesterday. It's for my 15 year-old sister-in-law who is a little bit punk. What do you think (one of these days I'll actually have clean and clear pics to share, lol).

I forget to mention that over the weekend we made our first outing to play in the snow! I had to get the kids new snow stuff this year so the kids had been patiently waiting and hoping the snow wouldn't melt. I'm happy just to have some snow pics to scrap with since I have so much great digital snowflakes and great scrapping stuff for winter! I don't know if it's all 5 year-olds, but Grace has to act goofy for every picture I attempt to take:)

Love my double chinage!

So my Flylady ways went out the window around Thanksgiving, but I'm trying to get organized again! This morning I woke up to a shiny sink and it really does make me happy:) It really does seem to make a difference in my mood. Wish me luck today;)
Have a wonderful day!
xoxo until next time!

Rise and Shine!
I had a very uneventful weekend which was actually kind of nice:) I borrowed my Mother-in-law's sewing machine so I could work on a few notebook covers for my sisters-in-law for Christmas. My sewing machine broke awhile back and I'm dying to get a new one, but I'm trying to hold out and get a nicer one (not Walmart) this time around. We'll see how long I can wait though. So the sewing machine that I borrowed is at least as old as my husband (29). I works great still, but I could not figure out how to thread the dang thing, lol. Thank goodness for the internet and for people that think to put diagrams of how to thread 30 year old machines on it. How did we survive before the internet really? So this is the first cover that I finished. The other one is now in the works:)

Today I have two new things up for sale at Funkyplayground to show you! All of the designers have come up with mini kits to sell called Fa La La to go with Traci Murphy's created some awesome 4x4 templates. You can get entered into a contest just for buying the mini kits. Each designer will be giving away gift certificates! Here's my Fa La La pack of elements and some doodley felt fun also ;)

Here's also a layout that I created the other night using the Felt Meets Doodles Flowers, Stitched frames, and some Emily Merritt goodies!

Just a Quick One:)
Hope you are all doing great and aren't getting more and more stressed as Christmas gets closer. That's usually how I am, but for some reason this year I'm not which is nice. I'm not even close to being ready either, lol. Yesterday I got to do a little Christmas shopping without the kiddos and at the same time Corey was trading in his truck for this:

In January when he starts his new job he'll be doing a lot of driving back and forth and a truck just wasn't going to work, lol. I also wanted to pop in and point you in Little Dreamers direction this morning! Emily has some super great felt stuff in the store. We are going to be bringing you First Felt Fridays every month from no on so if you love felt like we do come check it out!

Also check out Emily's fabulous things out today at The-Lilypad!
I also have a few fun things coming out at Funkyplayground on Monday so don't miss it!
xoxo for now!

I've got designing on the brain!
What a crazy December! I might have one too many projects going, but it definitely feels good to have something going, lol. The girls and I made some paper chains on Saturday since it was officially December and I still hadn't done anything though I had high adventing hopes for myself. Oh well maybe next year:) They're still young enough that cutting a link off of a paper chain each day gets them excited (thank goodness).
In other news...Corey got the job!!!!! We're super excited for the change. He doesn't start until January, but he's going to California for three days for training in a few weeks and then again in January for five days. I don't know why, but it seemed like he used to be gone all of the time and it didn't bother me, but now that the kids are getting older I don't like him to be gone. Oh well it's for a good reason so I guess I'll have to find something to do with myself :)
Check out this sweet banner that Gina Miller so graciously made for me to sport at MSA:

Yes I get to hang out at Funky Playground for all of December!! I have to admit that it's been fun coming up with designs to sell this month. Here's what you'll see:

Speaking of guesting...if you didn't know this already (which I'm sure you did) Emily Merritt is guesting this month at The-Lilypad!!! How cool is that?! So much fun! Speaking of my good friend Emily, we're going to start collaborating every month!! Check us out this Friday and you'll see what I mean;)
Have a wonderful day and I'll leave you with a layout that I made using my new Ric Rac Grids:
