Yes, I'm Still Alive!
If there's anyone out that there actually still reads my blog, lol. I tried to update this last week and my computer shut itself off for no reason right at the end, ARGH! Needless to say I've been too lazy to post since. I'm off to a good start today!!! It's my birthday (27)! I woke up early and jumped on the computer to do a little birthday digi shopping, but no actual purchases yet. Don't worry, I'm sure that by the end of the day I'll have a few new kits :) I had a brownie for breakfast, lol, but I'm not feeling guilty about it at all! I'm going to go to lunch with a few of my friends at my favorite place Cafe Rio and then a little shopping is in order. We'll see how long the kiddos last, but I need to go and get some pink flowers (my grandma's fav), a flag (my grandpa was a veteran), and a pinwheel (just for fun) to take over to my grandparent's grave sites. They died a few years ago within about a month of each other. Kind of a crazy Summer, but I thought that it was kind of sweet that they'd go around the same time.
So I didn't make it into the last round of the Ultimate Digi Scrapper, but there are some pretty amazing layouts over there. My good friend Gerarda (Nevache) made it and even my hubby (which usually doesn't get into looking at layouts) was in awe of her stuff.
Last weekend I got to go to lunch with the Utah digi girls and it was a blast! It was so fun catching up and meeting new people. My friend Tana Coleman that I've been doing the Recipe Circle journal with brought Ange, Ging, and I these great recipe holders which my computer doesnt' want to upload at the moment, but I'll post that pic soon!
I guess that I better get the kids some breakfast! Have a great May 29th!!!!

Blog Slacker in the HOUSE!!
Okay, so I've been kind of bad lately! Sorry to anyone and everyone (monstly anyone, lol) who's paying attention to my pretty boring life :) .
So, I have some great news! I found out yesterday that I and my best buddy Ginger both got onto BriAnna Shultz's creative time!!!! If you don't recognized that name, maybe you'll recognize THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
In not-so-new news I entered the Ultimate Digi-Scrapper Contest and I made it passed the first week. Here's my layout from last week, and my layout for this week (cross your fingers for me)! There are so many amazing scrappers out there, I'm not counting on getting very far, lol.
Last week was my friend's little girl's birthday (2) and she really thinks that she's a princess. I made this little tutu for her (don't look too close :)) and she loved it. Every time I've seen her since, she's been wearing it. It was so simple, cheap, and fun, I'll have to whip some more up in the near future.

So I just got back from doing some gardening, which really isn't near as fun as I had imagined, but that's okay as long as something grows, lol. I actually made a list of all of my scrapping things that I need to get done soon because I had too much going on in my head. I hope everything's peachy in your neck of the woods! Have a great day! Here are some cute pics from this last weekend of the girls, and their Uncle Ryan.
