I just had to share this with you guys. The first time I watched her do this I could not stop LAUGHING!!! She says that it's a dance that she does in the spring time and that her turtle taught it to her :) No she doesn't have a turtle, lol.

The Scoop :)

I really am going to be a good blogger, lol. Starting...........NOW! I have been busy doing a bit of designing and have a great time doing a little sewing. Today at WST we're focusing on the Out of Print products. If you haven't clicked in there lately. Some of my favorite things are in there (by the other fabulous designers) at great prices. Check it out!

We are also having and creative team call! You won't want to miss this (SERIOUSLY). We have such a great time just hanging out in the forums together not to mention the awesome designs floating around the place!

We have some fun things planned for next week that I'm excited to tell you about, but you're just gonna have to wait a few days;) I made my first wallet and tote bag on Saturday and it was so much fun.
I guess that's all for today, but check back soon because I promise not to wait a month before I blog again, lol.

I couldn't leave without leaving a cute baby Katers pic though!

It's Been Too Long!

Today Kate is four weeks old already. I can't believe how fast time passes me by.

Emily got to come a few weekends ago with sweet Bryleigh and it was so fun just hanging out with her again. We hang out on ichat a lot but it's definitely not the same, lol. She looked like a one man baby shower when she walked through the door. Emily and the these wonderful ladies really spoiled me. I am so thankful for great friends:) My favorite things were the homemade goodies (Super sweet Jaime made me a hooter hider. Thanks so much again Jaime!). I can't wait until Kate fits into the onsies that Emily made so I can take pics. While Emily was here she took a few pics and I made an announcement the other day using them. Thanks again Emily!:

A Week of Wonderful

I'm very blessed :) I had a great 9 months of being pregnant (great as far as pregnancy goes, lol). Had a short 3 1/2 hour labor and delivery from start to finish. And now I have this beautiful little baby Kate :)

This morning she had her first sponge bath (at home at least) that she really hated, but even her little cry is too cute. She sleeps most of the time, but when she is awake she gets an overload of attention. From Abby singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, to Grace giving her a good dose of baby talk. Even her Dad is quite taken with her (more than I can remember with the first two kiddos).

More wonderful things this week include lots of great digi stuff! I got to help put together this awesome collab called New Life at {We Are} Storytellers. Here are some brag book quickpages that I put together and will be making Kate a book here soon:

and a layout using the kit:

Kate Hadfield and I also made some fun baby and Easter things:

And I also made these Funk Felt Buttons that are at TLP!

Thanks so much for all of your good wishes! They definitely worked and I really appreciate it. More baby pics coming soon (I'm sure you'll get sick of them).

xoxo until next time!

Doctors, Designing and Dancing :)

So first off, I see a baby in the near future :) I went to my doctors appointment on Tuesday and my doctor was trying talk me into getting induced. I didn't think that I'd want to, but the more I think about it, it would be nice to have it all nicely planned, not in the middle of the night, and to know that the kids are taken care of. I have an appointment on Tuesday again and I'll probably be induced on Thursday if little Kate doesn't decide to show her face before then :) My Mom's coming on Wednesday so Thursday would work out perfectly!

I've also been busy doing some designing! I am lucky enough to be hanging out with the ladies at The-Lilypad this month and our BYOC stuff came out today!!! I also need to get working on some more fun things that will be hitting The-Lilypad next week. Think "Kate Collab." Here's what you'll see if you click into my shop:

Emily and I also have our First Felt Friday item up at {We Are} Storytellers today and I have to say that this is for sure my favorite so far :)

Last night Grace and Abby had their very first dance recital and they were so excited. They didn't even think about being nervous at all which I loved. There's nothing cuter than watching a bunch of adorable three-year-olds up on stage trying to dance together. It was so much fun. Grace did great and had so much fun up there dancing with her friends. I never thought that I'd be a "dance mom," but it was really fun to watch. I got some fun pics that will soon be scrapped with this lovely kit. Here are my cute girls:

Okay I guess I better do some house work today. Send me some good Flylady vibes please!!!!!

xoxo until next time

Happy March!

Sorry for my slackerdome as of late :) Today I am officially 2 weeks from my due date!!!! I really can't believe how fast time as flown by. It's crazy. I still have a week full of stuff before I can get too anxious though. I'm teaching preschool this week to six little three-year-olds, Grace will be out of school for parent teacher conference, both Grace and Abby have their first dance recital, and I have lots of digi designing to do! So cross your fingers this baby waits at least seven more days, lol. I'm not too worried about that though.

Can you believe that along with designing I've been scrapping?!?!? I've had zero mojo lately, but the amazing designers at {We Are} Storytellers have really helped me out of a rut. Love everything there (and everybody). Here are a few recent layouts:

I need to make a run and get some fabric today to make a few baby things for myself, my good friend Kristine, and my neighbor. My sewing machine has been feeling neglected lately and I need to put an end to that. Speaking of sewing, I just joined this great group and I'm so excited to get started. Hopefully you'll be seeing a homemade table runner here in the near future.

I guess that's about all that's going on in this neck of the woods! Hope you have a wonderful day! xoxo until next time (which won't be so long I promise).

Sweating the Small Stuff :)

Hello everyone out there in blog land! I've been wanting to post more lately, but just haven't had anything to tell, lol. I don't know why, but everything has been driving me crazy lately. From my husband's overly boisterous singing in the shower to my totally unorganized house. Today starts a new week and I'm determined not to be a grouch, lol. So I guess that means that I'll have to clean :) Ugh. I also hope to be able to do some crafting (for digi and for myself) this week. That always makes me feel happy! Speaking of which, I just bought a tutorial/pattern to make this super cute top. The instructions actually seem pretty easy even though I'm going to finally figure out how to do button holes on my sewing machine. Wish me luck!

There is nothing but snow, snow, and more snow around here lately. My mornings are filled with sounds of snowplows driving by. I do have to say how blessed I am to have the neighbors that I do. Corey has only had to shovel once this season because there's always someone beating him to it with a snow blowers or 4-wheelers (with a blade). I don't even know the guy with the 4-wheeler!

At Grace's school they celebrated 100 days of school last week! Grace was really excited and brought home this paper with a heart on it. The assignment was to decorate it with 100 things to hang on the wall at school. Of course I LOVE these kind of assignments, lol. Out came every piece of craft junk I had! I always have to remind myself that this is her project and not to try and talk her into things (like adding felt, hehe). This is how it turned out and I love it. It's kind of like a little I Spy picture. She's so excited to take it today and show her teacher.

Speaking of school I better start getting her stuff ready for the day. Before I jet here's a layout that I did the other day :) Have a great week everyone and send me some happy vibes if you have any extra!

Happy Saturday!

Just a quick post :) Hope you're off to a great start to your weekend. Grace is slowly starting to feel better and she got up this morning at 5 a.m. so that gave me some open time to make Abby's babushkah! It was so fun to do. Now I need to make one for Grace and I think the baby will definitely need a mini version ;)

I also thought that for a change I'd leave you with a link to something that I'll probably never create, LOL. I just don't get it!!!

Here's what I'm making for dinner tomorrow :) My Mom made this almost every Sunday when I was a kid and I think that I've only made it once since I've been married (almost 8 years). I think it's time to make it ;) Maybe I'll also do peach cobbler since that was almost always our Sunday desert MMMMMM!

Now I need to put the sewing away for a bit and get working on some Valentine digi fun! You'll see soon ;) xoxo until next time!
